A Look Inside the Studio: Our Year in Review
A Holiday Greeting from Rachel:
Y’all, what a year. What a year filled with trials and triumphs, with constant twists and turns, and with incredible, unbelievable blessings.
My heart is so filled with gratitude for the amazing crew aboard the Grit & Grace ship, our loyal customers who continue to shop small, and for our lovely, resilient wholesale patrons, who support us and share the Grit & Grace message around the coast.
Not only have we navigated the ever-changing waters of 2020, but we’ve rendered pearls from this year’s challenges! We added new team members, created beautiful new products, and celebrated the addition of the Grit & Grace Cottage.
We could not do it without you. In our gratitude, we are welcoming you behind the scenes, into the studio, and our hearts in this blog post.

From Our Phones to Your Homes
‘Twas the days before Christmas, and all through the store,
Every creature was bustling, save for Pita’s sweet snore.
The orders were packaged for the mailman with care,
So that all your Grit & Grace gifts will soon be there.
Though our team still has so very much to do,
We can’t help but take a glance at our year in review.
We’ve captured so many precious memories right on our phones,
So here are our favorite G&G moments, from our hearts to your homes.
We recycled heaps of oysters that made quite a clatter,
We raised our voices to shout that Black lives matter.
We strung necklaces and painted shells, bringing love to each task,
To many food and bev workers, we delivered a free mask.
We joined Surf Rider in a Halloween clean up to save our seas,
We filled custom orders ‘til packages were up to our knees.
On World Kindness Day, we surprised strangers with bundles flowers,
And we delivered Callie’s Hot Little Biscuits to sweet warehouse neighbors of ours.
We celebrated birthdays and weddings and sweet Josie’s birth,
We look forward to Gail’s baby boy, who will fill our hearts with mirth.
Though this year’s twist and turns at times had us stressed,
For our incredible crew and customers, we feel so blessed.
Your patronage means the world to this crew of fifteen,
Your love and support keep us afloat (with a lot of caffeine).
Each day in our studio, we fill each other with cheer,
With grace and gratitude, knowing better days will soon be here.

Pile into Pearl with the rest of the crew, and to work, we must sail.
But lest we forget, ere we drive out of sight,
