Behind-the-Scenes: Grit & Grace Photoshoot Aboard Yacht Kelpie
Y'all, the Grit & Grace family is on cloud nine after last week's epic photoshoot aboard the yacht Kelpie.
We can't wait to roll out all our fresh imagery, styling ideas, and beautiful new products, but first, we wanted to give you a peek behind-the-scenes from our photoshoot.
A lot of hard work, love, and laughter went into this shoot, and we hope you enjoy this peek at the G&G family out in the wild, doing our thing and spreading sunshine.
We want to give a heartfelt thank you to our village, who came together to make this day happen.
Let's start with Captain Shannon, who not only welcomed us aboard her stunning yacht with open arms but who so graciously rescheduled immediately on the threat of bad weather.
We're also deeply grateful for the use of Kelpie, a magnificent 78.8-foot traditional gaff-rigged schooner designed by Francis Sweisguth and built at the Harvey Gamage Shipyard in 1928.
Kelpie boasts a colorful and rich history that ranges from hunting German U-boats during WWII to taking First Place at the Pendennis Cup in Cornwall, England. Learn more about Kelpie and her captain, the lovely Shannon Carleton here.
Thank you to Chef Daryl for providing delicious, nourishing food to keep the hanger at bay during our marathon shoot. You know food is our love language!
Last but certainly not least, we'd like to give a shout-out to all the Grit & Grace family members who poured their heart and soul into making this creative vision a reality.
From modeling swimwear in chilly weather to capturing drone footage to directing wardrobe changes, everyone gracefully wore multiple hats - both literally and figuratively.
(And all the hats pictured are available for purchase in our Flagship store.)
